Terms of service
The short version: we keep your books properly, you give us access and answer our questions, and either of us can walk away with thirty days' notice.
What we provide
Bookkeeping, reconciliation, month-end close and management reporting, at the scope set out in your engagement letter. Work is prepared by our systems and reviewed by a qualified accountant who takes responsibility for the output.
What we do not provide
- Statutory filings and audit, which are delivered by licensed partner practices.
- Tax, legal or investment advice.
- Any authority to move money on your behalf.
What we need from you
Timely access to your feeds and records, reasonable answers to our questions, and prompt notice of anything unusual — a new entity, a loan, a dispute, a change of ownership. We can only be accurate about what we are told.
Fees
Billed monthly in advance at the plan rate in your engagement letter. Remedial work on prior periods is quoted separately and never begins without your written approval.
Ending the engagement
Either party may terminate on thirty days’ written notice. Your ledger, workpapers and audit trail are yours, handed over in full, with no exit fee.
Liability
We carry professional indemnity insurance and stand behind our work. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim, except where the law does not permit such a limit.
